Power Locks/Power Windows
Power Locks/Power Windows
I guess my car came standard with these in '82, but now the auto door lock doesn't work at all, and the power window on the passenger side needs a little boost (as in you need to run the power windows and push down on her, same with rolling up). Is this fixable or do I need to buy a new motor for the power window? How laborious is it to replace? I used the search but I didn't find any pages with my problems...

I'd suggesting trying the easy fixes first: pull the door panel. Clean and lube the lock mechanisms and window tracks, etc. You may find that flushing 20+ years of accumulated grime will work wonders. If not, replacement may be in the cards.
