better bulbs

i figured this would be more of an electrical question so here it goes

Im redoing all my lights on the interior to blue. i got that all done. the problem is that my dome light bulbs i got suck royally. they're just the ones from Advance and i have gone thru 4 bulbs in the period of a week. the problem is not the filament but the coloring they put on it. i keep buring all the blue coloring to a toasty brown. any one know of any good bulbs to use that wont deteriorate almost instantly?
\ thanks for any insight

Re: better bulbs

LED's should do the trick.

Look on EBAY for Festoon LED lights
