Should I For Sure Buy A Tach?
Hello, I have an 87 Camaro Berl. and it was a manual 2.8 FI and I am doing a swap to a 350 and for some reason my car doesn't have a tach....I think it would be cool to just know by ear when to shift and all that do you guys think its a good idea?
P.S. I am not totally new to manuals, I drove one a year ago because my moms Saturn Vue was a stick (HA)

It never hurts to have a tach just as a "second opinion". Shift by ear is cool, but I would like to know at what point I am shifting just to be consistent. You dont have to buy a high priced monster tach just something to let you know when you get close to the "boom" rpm.
