4th Gen Pwr lumbar wiring?? I could use a little help.

I got my new leather seats from a 2002 Trans AM on Friday and installed them today. Driver side power and both are power lumbar. I have one
six-pin connector on the passenger side and one six-pin connector on the drivers side. Problem is that my 84 T/A with power seats only has one 2-pin connector on the drivers side (Orange and black). I cut the drivers side orange and black on the seat and cut the connector coming from the car and spliced the two together. YAY! I have power to my drivers side seat! How do I get the lumbar to work? Is it as simple as connecting each side wire-to-wire? I would assume the orange and black wires on the passenger side are are power leads that I'll need to run power to from the drivers side but what of the other 4 pins? Are they a one for one connection or is there a special way to wire them?

I did a search on the forum and came up with 36 threads with this topic but not one of them could answer this question. The simplest answer was "Get the factory bundle". Well, that would be great except the junk yards around here suck (2 firebirds and 4 camaros TOTAL between three junk yards all 1990 and older and almost completely parted out). And I can't afford the factory harness due to my current financial situation. I will however, run my own wires and splice it in (Um...$15.00 for parts and an hour of time vs. $100.00? Any day of the week) myself if I can find out how the wires go.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

Hmm, Search actually paid off...it's for a Camaor apparently and I have a purple wire that doesn't seem to match up to anything here...however, it does appear to be a strait wire-to-wire connection. Also, there does appear to be a difference in power wires. Camaro's are red and Trans Am's are orange. When I have more time, I'm going to look at my seats again to see if there are any other differences.

From one of the sites moderators even!

Thanks johnyIROC

For anyone who is trying to wire power inflatable... here is the schematic

Drivers Seat:
-Red Wire (Live - to the fuse block)
-Black Wire (Ground to chassis)
-Grey Wire (To grey wire on passenger seat)
-Grey Wire with Black Stripe (To grey wire with black stripe on passenger seat)
-White Wire (To white wire on passenger seat)

Passenger Seat:
-Red Wire (Live - to red wire on driver's seat)
-Grey Wire (To grey wire on driver's seat)
-Grey Wire with Black Stripe (To grey wire with black stripe on driver's seat)
-White Wire (To white wire on driver's seat)

You also have to run an air hose from the fitting on the driver's seat to the fitting on the passenger seat.
