Fuel level gauge inaccurate

Just filled the tank and the needle shows between 3/4 and full. Would you guess its a problem with the sender?

I guess it could be worse and be off in the opposite direction, and then I may out of gas. But this is still somthing I would like to fix.

Re: Fuel level gauge inaccurate

A problem common to our cars. A search will provide a wealth of info on the subject.

I did a search, then got lost in several posts about other problems, unlike mine. I spent about 30 minutes looking before I made a thread on this.......
