Speedo read 10 kmh with plug lead off?
Interesting... a couple of times over the last few months I've noticed my speedo jump (digital dash), but it has been too quick to be sure. (Like "did I just see that say XX ?")
Couple of days ago I forgot to reconnect #5 spark plug lead after changing the O2 sensor... when I started the car, the speedo was reading 10 kmh. (I also had a bad tapping noise and got worried for a minute before I realised I'd left the lead off).
How can an ignition problem like this affect the VSS signal... or is it more likely to have been weird voltages affecting the digital dash modules?
Cheers,
Stu
