headlight problem!
Hi, I have a bad problem and i need some help.
I was installing my tacho light and must have bumped something because now I have lost my headlights, I have no High or Low beam but lights do pop up and I do have parking lights.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Tacho light? Might want to elaborate a bit more on this
What all did you take apart? Without looking at schematics(which I think will end up being what you need to do), the only thing I could think of would be the headlight switch.
Did you tap into the electrical system somewhere to install this "tacho light"?

Re: headlight problem!
Thanks but I got it, The wire going into the HI/LOW beam switch was all corroded and it broke off of the plug so no power for the lights.
I installed a 4" Speco tach and there are 4+2 wires coming from it 1: Power, 2: Ground, 3: Distributor and 4: back light (the +2 are for the external shift light). The back light needs to be connected to the headlights so it lights up at night.

Re: headlight problem!
Personally, I'd hook it to the rest of my gauge lights. That way, I could dim it if possible with that product.

Re: headlight problem!
do you know what colour wire the gauge lights run off that im able to tap into? because it is quite hard to get to the back of the dimmer wheel/switch.

Sorry, don't have a clue. I haven't gotten to my gauge panel yet. I bet if you ran a search for "dimmer wire" or the like it's probably been covered before.
