Temp sender wiring
Hey guys I did a motor swap a few months back with the 400 and I finally got everything running but the problem Im having is, I labeled the wires but the problem is it fell off and I cant figgure out what wires are for what and what I connect to the sender. Any help? I was hoping for a photo or a wiring diagram maybe? Its for my 85 Trans Am btw. Thanks for the help guys!

Re: Temp sender wiring
If its the one for the temp gage on the dash . It will be a DARK GREEN wire that leeds to the drivers side head . You might have to take the sending unit off the old head (if you have not allredy). Then look for the connecter that matches . I had to buy some kind off brass adpther to make the sending unit work in the head .

Re: Temp sender wiring
Ive already got a new one set up so no worries there. What do you mean by drivers side head? Im confused I thought it ran to some solinoid or something but Ill pop the hood and look around for it a bit. Thanks and hopefully I can get a photo or something because I thought I read something about two wires which confused me. But like I said I will look.
