Problem with lights
I'm having an odd problem...it just started happening today.
The pop-up headlights are stuck in the up position. When I flip the switch to turn on the lights, the headlights come on, but the taillights don't, and neither do the interior dash lights. The beeping sound to notify you that the lights are still on does not go off. Flipping the switch to off just turns off the headlights.
So basically, the pop-up lights are stuck up, and the only thing the switch does is turn the headlights on or off. Any ideas? I'm going to go check the fuses and see if I can find a solution to the problem in a few minutes, but if someone has seen something exactly like this and already knows the answer, I'd like to hear it.
Thanks,
--Mike

Well, I found a burned out #7 fuse (parking lights; side marker lights; taillights). Would that cause my pop-up lights and dash lights to stop working too??

one more thing - there are 3 places where there are 30 amp fuses, but the manual states it should be different. These are:
#1 - 10 amp
#11 - 20 amp
#12 - 5 amp
Should I replace these with their intended fuses, or could there be a good reason these were switched?

well does what ever the 30 amp fuses are hooked to work if so i wouldnt mess with them if they dont work then i would put the fuse that the manual states should be there.

Re: Problem with lights
yes, it works, but it might not protect things in case of a short. You should use the lowest possible fuse based on what the attached electronics SHOULD be drawing at peak if they are working right.

Re: Problem with lights
ok so I replaced the fuse and all seems well, but I have no idea why the fuse blew to begin with...electrical problems are a bitch, especially when they are intermittent lol.
