Charging issue
ever since this new motor has been put in, the charging system is ****. Last year it wasnt flawless, but the battery never lost a charge, i just had dim lights at idle and barely blinking turn signals. But this year it wont even keep the battery charged!
I'm 99% sure I have not done anything to modify the wiring harness since last years setup. This is the layout I have. . .
I have a wire coming off the negative cable, it bolt the back of the alternator.
Also the plug, it has two browns and one red. The browns runoff somewhere in the harness, probably the voltmeter wires, and the red one runs to the body power which run to the positive. The body powers are orange and run to the positive
Here is the negative and where it leads off onto the alt.

My positive with the body powers and the one red from the alt plug.

The plug

and this is the only thing that is mind gobbling me.

I dont think it could be the spacers I have on the bolt going into the battery posts.
