connector C207 pin out opposite side.

OK. It is great that I have found the name and some pin outs for this c207 for an 89 camaro. What I am also looking for is where these go? All I have is the engine harness side of this. I need to know where the opposite end of this harness goes. If any go to ign+ or ground and what is needed to power the ecm properly and what is needed to power the engine sensors properly. I am getting a lot of coded with my swap and none of the engine sensors are reading on the snapon scan tool. Is there anything on this plug crucial for proper operation. I have the pas key module wired up and working but I think I still have some wires not hooked up. I have added the file I found here. If someone could add where each one goes that would be nice.

Re: connector C207 pin out opposite side.

You will need to cross-reference the diagrams in your manual for the C207 pins. Some of them supply power to the ECM and injectors, some of them carry signals from the ECM to the dash (speed, CEL, etc).

I know this doesn't help much but you need to do your homework, you need to research and get to know the wiring well.

Re: connector C207 pin out opposite side.

If I could find the wiring diagram for the c207 than I could find what I need but I cant find a diagram for the c207. All I found were the pin outs. I am good with wiring but I dont have half of the harness as it was in the donar car which is not available to me. Anyone know where I can find some good diagrams online. I have tried austin third gen but their link doesnt work. Are there any here? If so what is the link?

Try this link to the diagrams on AustinThirdGen.org.

They recently changed the software so most links got broken (yeah, I hate that too).

You won't find a diagram specifically for the C207. You need to look at other diagrams for circuits of interest and find the C207 references in there. That way, you will get the pin designation and corresponding wire colors and you can piece the puzzle together.

I think you are going to need to get a service manual to find the information you want. Here are a few scans from my 82 Camaro Manual. The first is a section of one of eleven pages of the complete wiring diamgram for the 82 model year. Note the two connectors in the lower right of the pricture, both of those plug into C207. I have limited the picture because this one is for a LU5 CrossFire engine. I don't think it will match up completely with your 89.

The second attachment is a colored wiring diagram for a part of the V8 computer controls for that car. Note there are several references to C207. The terminal point (a letter) is on the left of the reference. This is the type of diagram BigBabyLou is refering to.

You will need one or both of these to find the information you want.

I will post a link to the vendor for the service manuals. You may want to contact them to confirm that the manual for your model year has these diagrams. No sense spending $$$ if the manual does not have the information you need.

Here is the link for the service manual, you will have to link through to find the 89 Camaro page. Price for the service manual is $149.00 If you have access to the book you got the connector pin out, if you look in section 8C I think you will find the wiring diagrams similar to the first attachment. Further back in Section 8A should be the colored wiring diagrams. You might also look on eBay for the service manual, but I don't think it will be much cheaper there.
