Anyone wired switches up to their headlight motors

Well I just did Mine are an 86 so its 3 wires, but one is for an overload thing for the mercury switch(i think) inside. you just cut it and wrapr tape around the end, its not needed.

I had a power window center console in my car(but mine are crank) cause the kid i got it from wanted to convert it but getting the console is as far as he got

so I wired the headlight motors to the window switch and it works

HOW to do IT: make sure your power window switch has 4 prongs on the bottom.

Step1: make a power wire to come from the fuse box and put it on one of the prongs

Step 2: now ground it, ( i did mine on some bolt by my shifter) but make sure the ground is parallel to the power wire.

Step 3: take the Blue wire with a white stripe from each motor and put they on the last 2 prongs.

Viola push the switch up they go up, push it down they go down .

you might have to turn the swtich around so when you push it up they go up vice versa.

But a Very easy fix to the electrical problems these all get.

Mine would go up and down when they felt like it, and had a constant draw killed my batt over night.

now its all good

a very easy cool fix I think.
