Starter???
I am having problems with my car. Here is what is happening. When I go to start it, it go CLICK. Then when you try to do it again, I have no power at all. Then I go and disconnect and reconnect the battery and it goes Click when I try and start it and then it is dead. Battery is fine. Anyone think it is my starter?

Re: Starter???
Yes, these cars have a starter problem, they go bad fast and at anytime. Mine use to do that every once in a while, it would be fine for 2 weeks an then 3 times in 1 wek it would go bad.
The solenoid is next to the exhaust and the heat over time destroys it. You need to get a new starter put in. Andy

My battery is very low and I barely got it to start. Then it died. I charged it over night and I am going to try again today.

Re: Starter???
That's not a "starter" problem.
The starter is THE VICTIM of the real problem.
The ACTUAL PROBLEM is a bad connection somewhere. Probably where one of the battery cables hooks to the battery, or possibly at their other ends.
It's also possible that the battery itself is bad; specifically, that it has a broken connection internally. You can test for that by substituting a known good battery. Batteries are SUPER CHEEEEP, anyway; less than starters; just go get one and see, if you check both ends of both cables and they're good.
