Turn signal problen

I have had my mechanic messing with my right turn signal for a while now. Took him times to get it right. Ended up replacing the switch and had it working fine for the first time in 3 years.

The other day I fine tuned my tach... took out one of the resistors I had wired in to make it more accurate (reading low). Anyway, while heading to a shop to get some frame work done, the turn signals just completely stopped working all together. Nothing blinks at all. I tried the hazards, and they worked fine for a few minutes. Now, only the left signal blinks on that hazards.

Anyone have a clue what this could be? Is it possible that messing with the tach chip could have caused this? If it is, I can pull a chip from a junkyard car.

Car is a 1990 RS with a carbed crate motor.

I need help. Did I screw this up, or is it unrelated?
