Getting Rid of F.I. Wiring?

Well I wasn't sure where to put this but...my car is a 1987 that was fuel injected and was converted to carb before I bought it...the people who owned it before left all the fuel injection wiring in there, how would i go about removing this wiring, could i simply just find something that is unplugged and trace in back and cut or what? Any suggestions are appreciated!

What I did when I went to a carb was unplugged the computer under the dash and feed it into the engine compartment. From there I used a wiring diagram to determine which wires could be removed. Alot of the circuits cannot be completely removed. But pretty much when you find a connector that looks like its computer related check and double check the wiring diagrams and wire colors. I ended up removing a ton of wires. Good luck

I also have an 87 that was converted from FI to carb. I agree that you should look at a diagram to figure out which wires were necessary for your FI motor. Is your car currently running? What I did was figured out the wires, (I cut a lot near the heater box) and cut em about 1 ft long maybe and folded em back and taped them with electrical tape and stuck em in the loom.
