Help: One side of brake lights working

Hey guys, I just got my GTA running and have been driving it around for a couple days. I was doing a light check and realized that none of my brake lights work! (Luckily I wasn't driving in heavy traffic). I found out why, it's because the brake switch was binding on the high beam switch so I turned it around and now it works. However, only the driver side brake lights work. All light bulbs work (including reverse lights) so I can't imagine the second filament on all the passenger bulbs being broken. Neither of the two switches are binding any more, so I can only relate it to a bad connector. Any ideas? Also, what is wired to both switches, seems like more wires than cruise control and brake lights need.
