So i just put a tpi engine into a shell and ive wired up everything. But, it isnt turning over. The dome light and power locks work except they are very weak. The radio works perfectly and the fuel pump and windshield wiper motor are working too. The starter is good I tested it and its getting power. What are some possible problems? Im pretty sure all my grounds are connected...

 

i have the same problem but im suspecting the ground for my starter cuz mine only works sometimes its almost like it dont get the power the starter is fine as far as i know and if its not any connections im checking my ignition too as i just had it apart

 

I found the problem, it was a connector under the dash that needed a jumper cap to connect the two wires. Now its cranks but the coil has no spark, but the wires and plugs are brand new and the distributor is about 4 months old and was working perfectly when it was removed. Tried two coil packs too. Both worked before hand... Im stumped...

 

i found my problem well sorta, my ignition dont work when my wheel is adjusted up butt when its down it do(tilt steering) but anyway this aint about my problem did you rotate the distributer and check connections?
