I am hoping someone can do me a favour and post a couple pictures for me.

I have been trying to figure out why my new battery and alternator dont seem to get along and charge.

Today when my battery died.. again.. I unplugged the wiring harness from the alternator and noticed my harness is a 3 wire and the new alternator I recently installed has 4 pins.

So if anyone has a 1988 Firebird with the 305 throttle body engine could post a picture of the plug on their alternator and a picture of their wiring harness I would greatly appreciate it.

I am hoping a dumb *** at PartSource gave me the wrong alternator and that I dont have some other issue I need to chase down. But the charging system is pretty basic so I tend to think I have the wrong alternator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you cant post the pictures here for whatever reason pleasee message me and I can give you my email address. Or you can even just link me to them.
