NEED VATS HELP BAD

ok i need to know what a vats module looks like where it is located and where can you get a replacement one because i am almost sure mine went out pictures would be greatly appreciated it is in a 91 rs 305 thanks and i am not very mechanically inclined but learning so please be patient

vats module is a black box about 1in thick and abou 3x5 located behind the dashboard usually in the middle of the car have to remove dash to get at it replacement will onlt available from gm unless you find a used one for sale if you need one i have one from my 89rs i could sell you just let me know if you are interested and we can verify numbers on it

well it took to long to get anyone to respond so i just bought a bypass for it
sorry but if it doesnt work i will probably need help finding out what does

if it don't work you have to buy a new one, you can not buy used. cause when you hook up a new one the first time you turn the key it sets the fequency of your key in the module and there is no way to remove it. the only way to use the used one is that on the rare ocation the old key is the same as the new one.
