Cable to VSS?
I have an 89 IROC, that. I believe, has a cable driven speedometer (I have yet to take a look for myself). What I am wondering is, I am looking at the Nordskod Digital Dash for my camaro, as far as I saw, the website says nothing about it working with cable or VSS. I'm pretty sure it is made for the VSS equipped Camaros. Is there a conversion kit or some way of converting my cable driven speedo to a VSS speedo?
Thanks,

Re: Cable to VSS?
While on the subject for a digital dash, which one seems better: The Nordskog or the Digital Dakota. I've seen the Digital Dakota at many car shows, but I have never seen (that I can recall) the Nordskog version anywhere. If somebody has one or has read up on one, please let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Re: Cable to VSS?
You can either buy an expensive box that converts your speedometer cable spinning motion into an electrical signal (like from a VSS) or you can just buy a $30 VSS and run two wires to the new digital dash. These are two options I know of.
Hope this helps.
