ok, i have an 88 GTA w/ the digital dash. i recently fixed the fog lights and it still comes up in the system screen as bad. wtf? new bulbs and cleaned connections, still doin it. THEN i removed the horrible attempt at hardwiring the fans. they (whoever) made it work, but whatever. i hooked up the factory wiring and fans do not work. did the tests in the service manual up to doing some tests for the ECM. all checked out. whoever had the car b4 me put an aftermarket prom in the computer. could that be my problem? THEN! i found some better switches in the junkyard for my hatch release, rear defrost and amp gain. put them in and low and behold the damn hatch wont open, but when i hit the button the brake light on the dash comes on. WTF?! also the lights in those switches do not come on when i turn on the parking lamps. what the heck is going on? any information will be GREATLY appreciated
