Anybodt re-wire their stock cluster?
The 2 plugs back behind the gauge cluster sucks. Sometimes they don't make contact with cluster at all and sometimes they do. Sometimes ya gotta push on the cluster just to get the gauges to read. What I was wanting to do is take my cluster and hardwire the spots on the gauges that are common with the flimsy contacts on the bottom of the cluster. Kinda like I want to cut the wires form the 2 harnesses in the dash and run them to a molex-type plug and do the same for the gauges on the cluster. That way I can plug the molex's together and be sure of a constant fit rather than the sucky way the contacts are mated now. The flimsy contacts on the cluster or the harness' in the dash corrode to fast or too often. I'd rather have a plug-in where I can take out the cluster via a molex-type connector and not have to worry if I'm gonna make contact the old way. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

I have no idea what your talking about because I don't know camaros. However, if you are getting bad contact electrically(not mechanically) maybe sractch up the contacts a little bit or take a typing eraser to them.
If you still want something better, go buy a soldering iron and a molex tool. If you want good molex stuff, you will have to order it from an electronic parts distributor (not radio shack).
