adding a coolant temp gauge (aftermarket)
I changed my 305 4bbl to a 350 TPI. Everything works great. Passed emissions. Now the final things to do. Reconnect the oil pressure gauge and coolant temp gauge. I wouldn't mind hooking up the original but I have aftermarket gauges just in case. If someone can let me know where I can hook up the original connectors to the tpi motor, I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: adding a coolant temp gauge (aftermarket)
I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but there should be a port right above the oil filter (on the block) for the oil pressure sender. And there ports for water temp are on the sides of the block, below the headers/manifolds.. I'm not 100% sure between what cylinders, though... If you do a search, you'll get exact answers...

On my '89 with a Tuned Port 305, the coolant temp sensor for the gauge is between 1 and 3 cylinder (driver's side between the front 2 cylinders) like HCR13 said.
