alternator. why aint that wire hot????
I have been working on this one for a while. I have a delco cs130 series alternator that i have just replaced with a new one, only to find that its not getting power from 2 of the 3 wires plugged into it. I have the main hot wire (Red) that is good, but the two brown wires that are suposed to be hot when the ignition is on, are not. The guage on the dash works when i plug it all back together. I checked my fuses ( but if any one can tell me wich fuse is the Fan/alternator circuit I checked them all but its hard to tell wich one is labled what) and if any one may know where the Fuseable link on that line might be on a tpi motor. Thanks for any help you might have.
