Guys, I need help, finding and bypassing VATS!
I have traced the problem of my 92 camaro, 3.1, to the VATS. The code shows the VATS is malfuntioning and I have tested every other component. I need help finding where the module is and where to sodier resistors. I know there is 15 possible ones, but I don't know where to put them and I don't know where to start taking pieces off to find it. Please help, I need my car to run again.

There is a write up on this in the tech articles section.
Just get a ohm meter and test the resistance in the chip on the key, go to radio shack and get that resistor (5 for $1), cut the two orange wires at bottom of steering column, solder the resistor in between them.
