bad motors? or dead short?
so i need some help. i hate wiring but i'll do it when i have to. so here is the story.
91 Camaro RS, windows were fine. Got cold out and drivers window got slow then stopped worked again. I know that's the overload safety (circut breaker). so no big deal then went to roll down the passenger window and then car almost stalled and windows do not work anymore. Oh well "fix it later". So it is later and go check the fuses the circut breaker that the windows are on is super hot (b/c cycling constantly on and off)
so i have had one go bad before so i put in a 30A normal one just to check. turn the key and >pop<. did not even hit the window switch. So i'm thinking dead short but i don't know. I don't care to study charts so my question is....
drivers window motor was going bad anyway, is that motor gone bad or a wire near it and that's the dead short? or does the power go to the switches first? Is this a common problem and what is the usual problem?
thanks for the help.

Re: bad motors? or dead short?
The power goes from the C.B. to the switches. If your switches are not stuck on your short is inbetween the C.B. and switches. I would think it would be under the carpet where the wiring crosses from the rocker panel to the center console. Mike
