wiper motor problems...

wiper motor problems...

My wiper motor fuse keeps blowing.. the weird thing is sometimes it goes for 5 mins the blows and other times as soon as i put in the fuse it blows... i checked all the wires for a short.. cant find anything.. also made sure there is a good ground.. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Has this just started to happen or have you replaced anything? Otherwise, could be that the motor or motor circuit board (for lack of better description) is on the fritz?

i havent really changed anything.. its been doin it for a little while.. but i dont drive much in the rain.. any way it could be the wiper switch cause i know thats not workin right.. when i turn the switch to turn them off they keep going.. i have to turn the car off to get it to stop

As in the switch in the column possibly being on the blink? Yes, that too might have an effect on the wiper not working properly.. Ready to replace that?
