Orange wire
when I got my 86 ta, project vehilce it had a 4 bbl 350. orginally vin decode 305 4 bbl. Under the dash their is any organe wire with a spade connector loose. The organe wire to the fuse is hooked up thougth. The guy I bought it from had put in an aftermarket oil pressure gage. Perhaps this was his hot wire? anyone know what this does or what it is. also he didn't use the stock water temp or oil pressure gages I want to what would I need to hook these back up

Re: Orange wire
all the carb 305 in these were 4bbl
and the FI ones were crossfire and others were TBI
the orange wire you need to take a pic of
where is it located EXACTLY?
and take pics of the wiring for the instrument cluster
what did he do to it exactly ?
ppl are really retarded about hacking wiring
if its too bad you may have to replace the harness with one from a donor
you have to do what you have to
because you dont want a hacked up harness in your car to risk causing shorts and fires
replace it
dont gamble on it
