Hey guys i have an 1983 camaro with the crossfire injection setup. and my oil pressure is always tacked out and my temp guage only seems to work with the car off and ignition on(turned forward). when i tun the car on(running) the temp goes down to zero and never moves.. also my oil press goes back to zero with the car off like normal. any help would be awsome thanks!

Re: Temp and oil pressure guage
I take it the oil pressure gauge uses an electric sender?
Is this aftermarket?
Same with the temperature gauge I'm assuming?
Sorry for the questions, however I don't know a thing about your car.
Depending on the style of gauge and/or sender unit, you might need a
resistor to calibrate the readout.

Re: Temp and oil pressure guage
The gauges behave as if both sensors were disconnected.
Check the temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor. If they are hooked up, I'd recommend removing the connector, cleaning them and grounding the wire to test the gauges: the temp should shoot up to overheating and the oil pressure should show 0, when grounded. The test should of course be performed with the key on.
Hope this helps.
