DIY Wideband O2
DIY Wideband O2
I am tryign to figure out how to piece together a wideband O2 setup using a Bosch LSU4 sensor, but I am confused as to how the heating element aspect works. I cannot figure out if I am supposed to give it 12 volts to heat it up and keep it there, or if I am supposed to regulate it after it gets warmer, etc.
I was planning on getting the sensor, hooking up the heater to a keyed source, and then running the output voltage to a computer to datalog the voltage and relate it to the AFR...but no such luck finding a circuit for the heater wiring or a table describing the lambda values and thew corresponding voltages...
I had also looked at a different Bosch connector, which in my understanding was JUST a wideband O2, without the heating element, but I was not sure so I will do more research...
