Re: shifter indicator

THe stock alternative I went with myself, is to swap out the consoletop to one which has a shift indicator to begin with. You need to locate the berlinetta version concoletop, or one from a 90-92 possibly. In firebirds they have the shift indicator in 90-92 models. I always hated the fact that this was missing on my car. You need to do some research though, to find the right part, but in my case, it ended up being cheaper overall, got me a nicer looking stock interior, fixed both the broken ashtraydoor, and the crumbling leather boot, and is a direct easy bolton.

I found several places having them in good used condition, but went for a NOS (New old Stock) since I want my car to look it's best. Even at that price ($160), I think it was a bargain.

Re: shifter indicator

Well, I found several places willing to sell me a good used condition one for $50, so, up to you I guess.
