Has anyone ever tried to put one of those LED lights that go on the tailgate of a truck, on the back of your Firebird or Camaro?

I put one on my Firebird today, I have to say it looks pretty good! Better than I thought.

I will post pictures soon, as soon as it gets darker so it's easier to be seen on camera.

I thought about doing that until I got the STS.

Too bad it isn't the right width to fit, edge to edge of the tail lights.

 

not 2 bad... if you could just find some led's 2 finish out the edges i think it would look awesome, even if they were just a constant red.

 

I replaced the light bulbs in the high mount brake light on my 86 iroc with a led bar I got off ebay years ago.perfect fit(length wise) and havnt had to change those always failing bulbs since.Looks factory also.

 

i wonder how they would look in the notch just above the rear plate? but that looks good as well!!!!
