Engine: 383 storker and a 350LT1
Transmission: 700R4 and 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.23 and 3.73
wireing harness
the wireing harness in the engine bay of my 84 z-28 is junk the guy who i bought it from cut out the old wiring harness at the fire wall and by the passanger door and did leave much wire to work with. i know i can order a new one but what is the exact name of the wire harness and how do i unplug whats left of the wire harness form the fire wall and by the passanger door

All the wires through the pass side should be related to the ccc except there will be two wires from there that go to the trans for the back up lights if this is an original T5 car. If your not going to use any of the ccc, probably not a big deal. If you need that harness, start checking ebay or the jy. hope this helps

the big wiring connectors at the firewall and on the pass side should just be bolted together in the middle IIRC. CCC was what GM called their Computer Controlled Combustion system in the early 80's.

i got a problem it seems like the bolt in the midde are plastic cuz no socket i have fits it and when one duz it feels like its plastic
