Has Anybody seen this Before?

I started my 87 IROC tonight and I tried to turn on the headlights, but no lights, only the tone like when you shut off the car with the lights on. That's when I noticed that the tachometer, oil pressure gage and voltmeter were inoperative. Interior lights all worked fine as well as the radio and power windows. A quick look in the engine compartment showed the alternator belt and wiring were good to go. I had to get to work so I couldn't trouble shoot. Any ideas as to what's wrong?

I agree with the fusible links. There should be two of them. It's been a while since I've seen a diagram, but I believe one controls all the circuits you mentioned.

I have one go and it was the opposite of what you mentioned. Nothing worked but the lights. So its possible that the other one went out for you.

Thanks, Guys. I lucked out on this one. Found two bad 10 amp fuses. Replaced the fuses and problem solved.
