i have a 89 tpi 350 does it need a map sensor?

i have a 89 tpi 350 does it need a map sensor?

i have a 89 tpi 350 and i do not have a map sensor and i have no plug wires for a map sensor do i have to have one for this year???? plz help me thank you

No.. '89 is '165 ECM, $6E code. MAF.

well maybe u can help me my car has know power in drive but in park it runs fine. it chugs in drive it wont get up in go it take a mile to get to 55 i just did a tranny swap like week ago its got a new maf , tps ,plugs ,fuel pump, cap ,rotor, wires , igniton coil, computer plz help could it be my pinston rings??? $6E code what is that
