No guages...
I bought an 89 rs camaro. I get it home and running and none of the gauges work. The gas gauge will not go above half a tank and usually just stays there, the tach stays pegged, the oil gauge does nothing and the temp will sometimes be half pegged at start, fully pegged sometimes and not work at all sometimes. My Hot wire to my ecm fried so I had to rerun it. Would that have anything to do with it?

Most likely your cluster got fried as well.. good time for an upgrade though. When i got my Z my cluster was fried.. so i just ordered a pod from Jimmyjams and ordered all new autometer gauges and now everything works great... it took some time to wire it up but it was the best 500 i ever spent rather than getting a used cluster.
Just my 2 cents..
