Lamp driver terminal location

So I'm trying to figure out why I'm failing the diagnostic circuit check on my 83 TA (crossfire engine), which is no flashing 12 when one jumpers terminals A & B, and one of the ways to do so (the manual has two ways to do this actually, go figure) is to check the voltage from lamp driver terminal "c" to ground (page 6e1-44). Unfortunately my wiring harnesses look like an Italian pasta dish thanks to the previous owner and I'm having problems locating the lamp driver module. The component locator in the manual says it's "Taped to the I/P harness near console" but I don't see it. Does anyone have a picture of this or a better description of what I'm looking for? I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tony
