hi i recently did a tbi to carb swap and the motor i have in the car now is a 79 camaro 350 block. I was sondering by chance that someone might know the colors of the wires and what connector for the temp gauge, oil pressure gauge. And also i noticed that the brown/white stripe wire that is for the volt gauge runs to one of the relays is there neway to bypass that since im not gonna be using that relay?? o ya its a 89 camaro rs if that makes a diff. thanks

Re: gauge wires

The temp gauge uses a dark green wire, on the driver side of the engine, it is normally connected to a sensor between the first two sparkplugs.

The oil pressure gauge is on top of the block, in the very back, driver side. Uses a tan wire.

Hope this helps.
