how can i tell what ecm i have?

I actually have an EXTRA ecm from a 1989 iroc 305 tpi. out of a wrecked car. when i took the ecm out. the numbers like date of manufacture and model number and serial numbers turned to dust on the sticker. just wondering if there was a way that i could tell what the ecm number is so i can sell it. is it a 1227730 etc. or what. please help thanks.

Stock ECM for a 305/350 TPI engine out of an '89 f-body would be 1227165. That's a MAF computer.
