can someone plz point out which prongs i hook up the meter to in order to check voltage..and how much to expect.

should i do it with the key turned or not?

replaced the fuse by the battery. car starts then immediately shutters and dies

 

If you stick your testlight on the tan/white wire (with the relay in), you should see it light up briefly (for 2 seconds) when you turn the key on.
Then when the car starts, the light should come on again and stay on. Does it?
