electirc fan wiring, please help.
can anyo ne help me with my electric fan, its wired so it comes on when the key is turne on, bu when you crank the car up and turn it off it burns up the fuse, the guy that did it has a orange wire running into a single connector and a a black one going to ground, the orange one plugs into the end of the co nnector then loops and plugs into the same connector but 2 (i guess you could say prongs?) over. i want to know how i can wire it to come on with the key..and not blow fuses. im thinking of a toggle switch setup if no one can help me, thanks alot.
Re: electirc fan wiring, please help.
is it the dual fans or single.
The previous owner of my hacked up 91Z vert went ape chit on wiring up things all over the place.. some were down well with solder and other were half azzed.
Mine come on when you turn on the key and stay on when the car is ON and I noticed that he or they spliced a wire on the realys mounted on the top side of the drivers side firewall and attached a wire to it / taped it up and grouded it to the frame that holds the relays. I disconnected them at the moment ONLY because Im trying to figure other things out and Im trying to eliminate things 1 at a time.
if you want I'll pm you a pic of my relays how they are.... NO toggle switch needed in the car NOR do you need to tap into the fuse box.
