TPI Injector wiring diagram
Hi, anyone have a wiring diagram for the injectors?
I need to know where the (ign on) power comes from to the fuse.
/N.

Re: TPI Injector wiring diagram
You want to know what wires and switches (with associated pins on those switches) bring power from the battery to the fuse(s) used by the fuel injectors ...
Now that I look through my manual I find it grossly deficient in this area. But I will look more.
From what I can tell in my Haynes '866' manual. The other side of the injector fuses goes to a common PINK colored wire that goes two different places:
One trace shows the PINK wire going through a connector and it becomes part of the 'pink and white' wire set that plugs into the distributor.
The other splices to the PINK wire just before or at the connector mentioned above and goes to a plug related to the key switch (I believe). It shows the terminal of that plug as 'IGN 1' All these traces remain PINK (the color does not change as it goes through a connector). I see only one PINK wire going to the plug that I believe is related to the KEY SWITCH. Unfortunately I do not see the pinouts for any KEY SWITCH shown that would match up to the plug I reference above. In that same plug there are wires related to SOL, BAT 1, BAT 2, BAT 3,IGN 1, IGN 2, IGN 3, ACC, GND 1, GRN 2 . It also states: BAT TERMS 1, 2, 3 COMMON.
But see if this makes sense on your wiring. In the Haynes manual I had to look at information for the '82 and 83 models' which made more sense in this area than the '84 models'. The '82 and 83 models' schematic show the two injector fuses I have in my 1989 Camaro 305 FI Vin E (TBI). The '84 models' schematic does not show the two injector fuses.

Re: TPI Injector wiring diagram
This diagram should answer your question: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/mkport...stribution.jpg
In words: the power comes from the main starter solenoid post, through the ignition box, to the fusebox.
Hope this helps.
