Re: headlight relay

I don't know what headlight relay your talking about on a camaro but,I would advise you not to go back to that place.
I've never seen any relay on a third gen that costs $100 alone.

Re: headlight relay

Ask him to point to the relay.

My 1989 Camaro RS 305 FI Vin E (TBI) has a headlight switch. No relays are involved for headlights in my stock setup.

No relays in either of mine. The switch does contain a breaker which opens for excess current, then resets itself when it cools down.

Re: headlight relay

Definitely stay away from that scammer. Next thing you know, he'll be selling you blinker fluid and muffler bearings.

What are your symptoms? The wiring for our headlights isn't that complicated. Power goes through the headlight switch, through the hi/lo beam switch and then directly to the headlights.

Re: headlight relay

well the headlights were working perfectly fine when they suddenly went off. i checked the fuse box and everything seems to be fine. i have noticed that when i try to click the hi beams nothing happens not even the light on the dashboard turns on. could it be the switch and how much would that cost??
well im definitly not going back to that place thank you guys.
