engine fan

somthing is wacked with the wiring in my car i bought it from east side san jose and they were some crappy back yard machanics or just *** holes but ive done alot of work almost re built the damn thing but i cant figure out how to go about fixing the electrical problem with the engine fan its not turning on by its self and its wired to only turn on when the ac is on norm if its not set to norm the fan never comes on like its saposta how would i go about fixing this electrical problem?

there are two differnet ways on how the fans are wired one is the ac sends a signal to the ecm and the ecm trigers the relay and the fan coms on with the ac or the engine temp (single fan) Or if you have a dual fan setup it the primary fan will work the same as the single fan and the secondary fan is turned on by the ac head pressure switch, via realy. You need to get a service manual with some diagrams and they will show you the way they are wired.

thanks yea its just a single fan i have two books on my car but one of my buddies took one and the other one is mia at the moment becuase i just moved
