ok so i put in a keyless entry alarm remote start. tested it 5 times and everything was fine. next morning i remote start the car and it s fine and i go to work. im leaving work i remote start the car and the car is sitting at 2000 rpm. i put my key in and try to kick it down and it wont. i try to drive it home and it wont let me go past 20 mph. and check engine light is on. my mechanic red the codes and a bunch came on for all different things. they reset it and they came back plus 2 more. any ideas woud be great. i also changed the cruise control switch tues as well and i remember seeing a pink and black wire not connect so i re connected them as well i dunno if that would help

Re: no ideas

did you splice all the wires or did you have to cut any? What remote system do you have?

Re: no ideas

yeah, that should probably be disconnected...the tach wire is on the blaster coil, no where near the injectors...

It could also be this pink/black wire. Maybe it was disconnected on purpose.

Another thing to consider is fuses. I'd look at injector fuses specifically. If your friend was connecting tach and injectors, one bank of injectors might have blown the fuse, making the car idle but not giving it any power to actually drive.
