1991 Firebird Starter Enable Relay----Help
1991 Firebird Starter Enable Relay----Help
I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird that will not crank. I replaced the Steering column and the starter and the car still won't crank. I have narrowed it down to the Starter Enable Relay but I have NO Idea were it's located.
Does anyone know where it is and what it looks like and can I get one at an auto parts store or do you have to get it from the dealer?

On the 91, I'd say it should be located close to the fusebox. Or if you don't find it there, it could be in the A-pillar, behind the kick panel (where the doorlock relay usually is). You can recognize it by its colors.
Make sure the relay is bad for real before you go buying a new one.
Hope this helps.
