so many electrical problems
yea...
so i recently bought a 1986 camaro v6. and it has tons of work that needs to be done. alot of it is electrical lol.
the tach meter, water temp, on the cluster do not do anything. i was messign around with it, but i am not much for electronics. i know they still are getting an electric flow to them because when i took it apart and moved the gauges so they were not stuck, they just shot towards eaither the 0 or the max rpm or water pressure (thats when i turn on the ignition).
the third brake light does not work. and i know for a fact that it is not the bulbs, and the truck switch to release the trunk is eaither loose or something, because it only work maybe once every 10 times i try it.
and i also have the check engine light coming on because of codes 34 and 42
and i dont know if i should get a new MAF sensor, or what lol. and how would i fix electronic spark timing?
i think that is pretty much it for now, any of your help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: so many electrical problems
all right i figured out some of this stuff.
but i was wondering if anyone knew if it was my coolent sending unit that is bad. because when i turn the ignition to on, the tach shoots up and the coolent temp gauge just...dies lol. so i was wondering what some of the main concern points would be for that?
