int. lighting issue

ok i jus got an 87 IrocZ28, this is my dream car, the bild date is actually my birth date but any ways i found a few problems the first time i drove it at night, one was my freakin gage lighting, radio lighting, and climate control lighting DO NOT WORK! now i looked in the fuse box and saw a few missing so i popped in some new ones but there are still like 2 missing that i cant tell what they are because the labling is all worn away. the ones that are still empty seem like they are different types of fuses than the regular 2-prong push in type that i normally see. also i put in a new trunk motor and it worked fine the first time i pluged it in and shut the hatch but when i went to pop the hatch it didnt move back up and now it does nothing. theres a random white wire with a plug on it with nowhere to plug it in. any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: int. lighting issue

You are on the right track with the light problem. If the fuses aren't the prob. try the light switch, see if all connections are good. The hatch is a little more difficult. If you don't get it lined up properly it won't work. Check your instructions, and if everything is lined upm properly probably the gears inside the hatch motor. I think Top Down Solutions has the parts you need. ou can find it's advertisement on this site.
