rear window defog

Was a rear window defogger standard equipment on an 87 Iroc?

I'm a little confused, the brochure (on iroc-z.com) lists it as an option (defogger, electric rear window) but also as standard equipment (spoiler, rear defogger)

The spoiler was standard on Z28 and IROC - Not the Rear defroster; that was optional on all cars.

Re: rear window defog

My wires that go to the connector on the hatch for my rear defrost are frayed and broken what could I replace the wire with or any special type of wire, I'm thinking of splicing a wire there to make the connection again cause it doesn't work now

It says right there in the brochure, rear spoiler rear defog as a package and the S under the options list for Iroc. that would make it std. equipment. Then further up top it's listed as a separate option with a black square, meaning it's available as an option for this model.
