Blower motor promlem

I have an 84 Trans am. The other night I parked it and the blower motor was working fine. Then it sat for a bit and when I got back in the blower motor didnt work. The heater and the selector switch is working, theres just no air being moved. Ive tested the blower motor itself and it works. Ive tested the blower motor relay and it works. I tested the fuse block and it works as well as no fuses were blown. Im running out of ideas so any input would be great.

So you tested everything individually and it all worked. When you tested the motor itself did you just apply your own power and ground? A lot of times the ground wire going to the metal housing of the motor becomes loose or a bad connection. If you have power at the wire at the motor connector, make sure the motor housing is grounded.

Ran into the same issue 2 weeks ago. My heat and a/c stopped working but the motor would still spin when I removed it and tested it. Turns out the motor was the problem. It was pushing air, but not enough to feel it in the car. Go replace the motor, it's only $25 with a lifetime warranty at Autozone.

DON'T BLOW THE PROBLEM OUT OF PROPORTION

What he said because the commutator and brushes wear out in such a way the symptoms will include the motor SOMETIMES working.

Re: Blower motor promlem

But I replaced the motor in february this year. Plus Im not getting any power from the wire going to the motor. But if I jump from the blower motor fuse straight to the motor it works. So it has to be something in between, but I replaced the switch and im not sure what else there is.
